Frédéric Bélot defends the companies Cooperl Arc Atlantique and Brocéliande ALH during the litigation proceedings initiated by the Autorité de la concurrence and which gave rise to decision no. 20-D-09 issued on 16 July 2020 by the same authority. With this decision, the Autorité de la concurrence sanctioned these two companies to the fine of approximately €35 million because of their alleged participation in a horizontal anticompetitive cartel in the cooked cold meats sector under the distributors or first prize between 2010 and 2012.
Frédéric Bélot advised and represented these two companies before the Autorité de la concurrence and is now acting before the Court of Appeal of Paris in the context of the action for annulment brought by Cooperl Arc Atlantique and Brocéliande ALH against this decision of sanction, which is based exclusively on a notebook, made up by one of the companies involved in the same case for the sole purpose of involving Cooperl Arc Atlantique and Brocéliande ALH.
In this regard, Frédéric Bélot assists the latter in the context of the information opened following the criminal complaint with the constitution of civil party which they have lodged before an investigating judge of the Court of Justice of Paris against the competitor in question, for acts of falsehood, use of falsehood, slander and fraud at trial.
