Registered Lawyer at the Parisís Bar, Sylvestre Gossou holds a doctorate degree and a master degree in private law. He specialises in French and International commercial legal issues, both in advisory and litigation matters.

As a lawyer specialized in commercial law in Africa, (particulary OHADA law), Sylvestre provides legal support to economic operators in running their cross border projects in Africa, especially in project financing (structured finance, resources mobilisation on financial markets, syndication loans, PPP, etc).

Sylvestre Gossou clients are also banks, insurance companies and intermediaries, since the lawyer has a very good command of regulatory issues of the finance sector, both in France and in Africa. He is a co-founder of the ìBank-Insurance columnî (Chronique de bancassurance) in the Banque & Droit Journal. He is also a consultant for Lexis Nexis Insurance Compliance Solution Software.
