Debora Cohen is an attorney-at-law admitted for practice in Paris.
She practices as an attorney at law for French and foreign clients, both as an in-house counsel and as pre-litigation and litigation.
Having developed her experience in Paris, within the Lexing Alain Bensoussan Avocats, then at Soskin Avocats law firms, she created her own law firm, DC Avocat, in 2020 (DC Avocat ; LinkedIn : LinkedIn DC Avocat & LinkedIn Debora Cohen).
Her areas of practices include the law of new technologies (RGPD, Data Protection Act for example) and media and communication law (press, e-reputation, intellectual property).
Debora Cohen also acts as an outsourced DPO.
She advises and litigates in data protection, in order to ensure her clients compliance with the GDPR and during CNIL controls, as well as advising and litigating in media law (defamation, insult and denigration) and digital criminal law.
She assists and advises media agencies, e-commerce companies, creators of websites, applications and software, as well as artists, performers and labels in the compliance of their content with respect to their intellectual property rights, in particular trademark and copyright law, but also in the drafting of their contracts for these aspects. Debora Cohen also handles pre-litigation/litigation in these areas.
